They welcomed members of our Executive and Leadership Teams and Board, along with Oldham Council colleagues, Deputy Leader, Elaine Taylor and Paul Clifford, Director of Economy.

The itinerary covered Cherry Avenue in Alt, West Vale in Coldhurst, Radcliffe Street and Shaw Street in Royton and Hughes Close Failsworth, to see wide-ranging work we’re doing to build more high quality, sustainable properties to help meet demand and provide homes that are fit for the future.

Commenting on the day, Joel Owen our Director of Development said: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to show attendees around these new affordable housing developments, which we are very proud of.

“It was a chance to show the variety of property types underway to meet local housing need in the borough, use of modern methods of construction to support our aims, sustainable features to help customers save energy and money, and our collaborative working with Oldham Council and development partners to bring forward more desperately needed housing locally.

“Conversation and feedback on the day was very positive and we’ll take it forward as we continue to deliver our Development Strategy to build 1,100 new homes 2020-2026 and achieve the ambitions in our Big Plan.”
