Our £3.7 million investment scheme is underway in Holts
30/06/2026
Our £3.7 million scheme to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of 302 of our properties in Holts is now underway.
New roofing, triple-glazed windows, new doors, loft insulation top-ups, and ventilation upgrades are all taking place in 202 houses and 100 flats in the area.
The work is part of our programme to upgrade all our homes by 2030 to ensure they have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of at least C.
Work will continue for the next year with our contractor Connolly undertaking the retrofit work.
“We are committed to making sure all our 11,500 properties are as energy efficient and comfortable as possible for our customers,” said our Executive Director of Customer Experience, Jayne Lawson.
“This latest Holts programme is part of a much larger £18.2 million investment across our communities in just this financial year alone.
“There are huge benefits to the work, including homes becoming more efficient to heat, as well as quieter because of the triple glazing."
She added: “More and more of our properties will be receiving these retrofits in the coming years as we work towards meeting our 2030 EPC ‘C’ rating target. Those in line for improvements will be contacted in due course.”
