Neighbourhood walkabouts to mark Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week
18/11/2024
We’re all about making our neighbourhoods great places to live and we are teaming up with local partners to show our support for Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week and underline our commitment to customer safety and wellbeing.
Tackling ASB and resolving issues brought to our attention as quickly as possible is a priority.
We are proud to be an anchor organisation in Oldham and we work closely with Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Oldham Council and others to reduce ASB and make it simple to report issues.
We do this all year round but we are bringing it into focus this week and holding neighbourhood walkabouts with GMP and local Councillors, 18–24 November to show we are taking a stand against unacceptable behaviour affecting the areas in which we work.
The neighbourhood walkabouts will be held…

Peter Davidson, Head of Tenancy & Neighbourhood Services said: “A partnership approach is vital for addressing ASB and we’re delighted to be collaborating with local agencies on these sessions.
“ASB has no place in our neighbourhoods; we know the devastating impact it can have and we take all reports very seriously. In 2023/2024 our team investigated 372 ASB cases and through joint working with local partners we took positive action, which meant residents could live peacefully.
“Our message to anyone who is affected by ASB in our neighbourhoods is clear: please report it to us so we can investigate and take the necessary action.”
