Two new Non-Executive Directors join our board

We are pleased to announce that two new non-executive directors have joined our board.

Collette King-Vogel and Gareth Rigby will undertake a three-year term and bring extensive experience to their roles.

Miss King-Vogel is to chair the board's People and Governance Committee. The affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing was recently director of people and performance at Chester Race Company. She has substantial senior leadership experience in social housing, alongside experience in other non-executive director and advisory roles.

Mr Rigby will become a member of the board’s Investment and Development Committee. He has broad senior-management experience across housing operations, asset management and development within social housing. He is currently executive director of customers, place and services at Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

In addition, Scott Rutherford has been appointed as an independent committee member of the Investment and Development Committee. Mr Rutherford is presently chief property and regeneration officer at Orbit Group and responsible for more than 47,000 homes. He has 25 years’ senior-level leadership experience in this area.

FCHO chair Amanda Harris said: “We’re delighted to welcome Collette and Gareth to their non-executive director roles. I know they will be a great addition to our board and they both bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to help us support the chief executive and his team.

"This is an exciting time for FCHO as we look to build at least 600 more homes in the years to come and improve our existing stock. To help meet these ambitions a board with a wide-range of skills is crucial.
