Thank You for shaping our Customer and Communities Strategy. Plus, we have a prize draw winner!

02/09/2025

Throughout July and August, we listened to our customers and colleagues as part of our Customer and Communities Strategy consultation – and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took part.

Whether you joined a workshop, contributed during toolbox talks, attended a community event, completed a survey, or simply shared your thoughts in everyday conversations, your input has been invaluable. We received hundreds of responses from across the borough, and your insights are already helping us shape the next phase of our strategy.

Here are some of the key themes that emerged from feedback:

  • A strong call for us to be more vocal about how we’re tackling anti-social behaviour.

  • A balanced approach to service delivery, offering both online and in-person options to meet diverse customer needs.

  • Colleagues expressed a clear appetite for more training opportunities to support service delivery.

  • Customers and colleagues asked how we’ll use data more effectively to improve outcomes.

  • The preferred name for the strategy is ‘Customer and Communities Strategy’.

  • Many asked when changes will be implemented, showing a real interest in seeing progress.

We're now reviewing all the feedback in detail, analysing what it means for the strategy, and shaping the final draft.

This is a strategy built on insight and shaped by the voices of customers, colleagues and the communities we serve. We’re excited about the journey ahead and look forward to sharing the next steps very soon.
