We’d like to say a huge thank you to businesses in our supply chain, local partners and colleagues who this year have donated a tremendous £3,600 plus a mountain of presents to help make our Christmas gift collection our biggest yet!
Your generosity means that more than 1,000 customers and people across the borough have special gifts to open on Christmas Day.
Our gift collection is an annual fixture organised to help spread some Christmas cheer.
Our suppliers (listed below), plus Bethesda Church in Royton and colleagues across our business went all out this year, contributing record amounts of donations, toys, clothes, toiletries and much more to make a difference to our customers after a challenging 12 months.
In addition, we secured items from Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas campaign, too to support further organisations and charities in Oldham.
Naomi Martin-Smith, organiser and FCHO Learning and Development Coordinator, says: “Christmas can be a particularly pressured time for households and, with lots of changes this year, more than ever people need a helping hand.
