ASB Awareness Week header

To support Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week our team will be holding 13 neighbourhood ASB walkabouts across the borough.

The initiative - from 30 June to 4 July - is giving us an extra chance to highlight some of the work we undertake and raise awareness of ASB and the effect it can have on our customers and communities.

These neighbourhood ASB walkabouts underline our commitment to customer safety and they reinforce the message we are an anchor organisation here in Oldham very much committed to tackling ASB whenever it happens.

To maximise our impact we work with Greater Manchester Police, Oldham Council and others to tackle and reduce ASB across Oldham borough 365 days a year.

The walkabouts are taking place on:

  • Friday 27 June 11-1pm, Holts Village

  • Mon 30 Jun 11am-2pm, Diggle/Dobcross/Delph/Denshaw

ASB key facts

  • It is an FCHO priority to tackle ASB and resolve issues brought to our attention as quickly as possible.

  • ASB has no place in our neighbourhoods; we know the devastating impact it can have.

  • We use all the levers of the law to stop ASB including Closure Orders and injunctions, notices to seek possession and warning letters.

  • In 2024/2025 our team investigated 562 ASB cases and through joint working with local partners we took positive action.
