Online classes this October

We’ve moved our training sessions online for now. These short sessions will be relaxed and informative. All are welcome.

Effective job search and applications: 1.30pm-2.30pm Friday 9 October

We’ll look at where to find job vacancies and how to submit effective job applications.

Multiple Choice Questionnaires: 1.30-2.30pm Monday 19 October

Some employers use multiple choice questionnaires as part of the application process. This session will look at how to understand what the questions mean and make the choice.

Positive thinking and motivation: 8-9pm Tuesday 20 October

This session will explore how we can learn to think more positively and be motivated.

Stress Management: 10.30-11.30am Wednesday 21 October

This session will cover causes of stress and ways to manage and reduce stress, within work and life.

Top 10 transferable skills: 10.30-11.30am Wednesday 28 October

What skills are employers looking for? This session will look at what skills employers want, how you can develop these skills, and how can you show potential employers that you have them.

Interview skills: 1.30-2.30pm Thursday 29 October

This session will look at preparing for an interview, describing your skills and giving great responses at interview.

How does it work?

You will need a device that connects to the internet e.g. smartphone. We’re using Webex which is free to use. When you sign up for a session you will be sent information and guidance about how to use it.
