Online classes this August

We’ve moved our training sessions online for now. These short sessions will be relaxed and informative. All are welcome.

Customer Service 1.30 - 2.30pm Thursday 6 August

Customer Service skills are important for most roles, whether you are dealing with the public or colleague from other teams. This session will highlight the key skills needed.

Goal setting: 8 - 9pm Wednesday 12 August

The session will look at why it can be useful to set goals, how you go about setting achievable goals for life and work, and how to avoid common pitfalls when working towards them.

Completing job applications: 10.30 - 11.30am Tuesday 18 August

This session will look at how you fill in the Supporting Statement/Personal Statement section of an application form to demonstrate your skills and experience in the best way.

Too much month left at the end of the money? : 1 - 2pm Wednesday 19 and 26 August

We’re working with the Ancora project to bring you free Money Management training. The course aims to help you get more in control of their finances, so they can stick to a budget, save and prevent debt.

It is delivered in 2 parts online with resources posted out to you too. Wednesday 19 and 26 August 1 - 2pm via Zoom.

Interview skills: 1.30 - 2.30pm Thursday 27 August

This session will look at preparing for an interview, describing your skills and giving great responses at interview.

How does it work?

You will need a device that connects to the internet e.g. smartphone. We’re using Webex which is free to use - you will be sent information and guidance about how to use it.
