New out‑of‑hours ASB reporting service available from 2 March

From Monday 2 March 2026, we will launch a new anti‑social behaviour (ASB) reporting service, the RESPECT Line, delivered in partnership with Case Management Solutions Group (CMSG). 

This new service enhances the support available to customers and communities experiencing ASB, giving them the ability to report concerns as they happen, even outside of office hours. Last summer, customers told us that addressing ASB was a key priority for them, and this development helps us continue progressing in that direction. 

Updated Contact Centre opening hours 

From 2 March 2026, we will also be making a change to our Contact Centre opening hours. 

Our new opening hours will be:  

Monday–Friday: 8am–6pm (full service) 
Out of hours (6pm–8am weekdays and all weekend): 

  • Emergencies

  • Urgent issues 

  • ASB reports via the RESPECT Line 

There is no reduction to emergency or safety cover, this remains available 24/7. 

These changes reflect: 

  • Customer feedback from last summer’s consultation 

  • Industry practice 

  • Our commitment to improving first‑call resolution and daytime response quality 

Call demand data shows contact volumes drop significantly after 5pm, allowing us to align resources where they’re most needed. We will continue to support vulnerable customers to ensure they can access services easily. 

About the RESPECT Line 

ASB doesn’t stop when offices close, and neither does our support. From 2 March, customers can report anti‑social behaviour 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. 

How it works 

Calls are handled by trained ASB specialists who: 

  • Understand the impact of ASB and community safety issues 

  • Provide reassurance and support 

  • Capture reports in a structured, court‑ready format 

  • Ensure ASB Officers receive accurate information before 9am each day 

This enables quicker decisions, more effective case handling, and improved safety outcomes. 

Service availability 

RESPECT Line operational hours from 2 March 2026: 

Monday to Friday: 6pm – 8am 

Weekends: Friday 6pm – Monday 8am
