Have your say on Oldham Council's plans for the Spindles!

If you live in Oldham, Oldham Council want to hear your views on their plans to redevelop the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre.

The council has recently purchased the shopping centre and has announced plans to relocate Tommyfield Market into the centre.

The site of the current Tommyfield Market, built in the 90s, will be demolished and a new 'linear' park will be developed from the market site to where the old leisure centre and swimming baths used to stand with plans for new homes to be built around it.

Other developments within the shopping centre include flexible workspaces to appeal to budding entrepreneurs and growing sectors such as creative design and media.
