Get energy savvy with our new guides

14/11/2021

This week all eyes are COP 26 and bringing climate change under control, and we're launching a new set of guides to help you get energy savvy, save on your bills and cut your carbon footprint.

From understanding your energy bills better, getting to grips with meter readings, knowing how the heating at your home works or getting tips to save energy, our guides can give you the information and advice you need.

Simon Davies, FCHO Sustainability Manager said,  “Heating our homes, getting hot water and powering our appliances - we rely on energy daily for all these things. As a result, around a quarter of the North’s carbon emissions come from homes.

“At FCHO we are in the early stages of our sustainability journey, but we're absolutely committed to finding greener ways of working to minimise our environmental impact and provide sustainable and affordable homes for our customers.

"Check out our guides to see how you can become more energy efficient, benefit from more money in your pocket and help do your bit for the environment."
