FCHO supports Safeguarding Adults Week 2025

17/11/2025

It’s Safeguarding Adults Week and an opportunity to raise awareness of how we work to keep customers safe from risk of harm or abuse. It is also a chance to highlight how customers can report concerns to us, if you are worried about an FCHO resident or member of their household.

Safeguarding is about keeping people safe from harm. We are absolutely committed to doing this and will take action if an adult - or young person or child - is at risk of abuse or neglect.

Our team is trained to understand safeguarding risks, spot the signs of safeguarding issues and have the knowledge to report concerns.

We are also members of the Oldham Safeguarding Adults Board and Oldham Safeguarding Children Partnership and work with Oldham Council, Greater Manchester Police, the NHS and other agencies to help keep customers safe from harms.

Concerned about someone? Tell us.

If you are concerned about an FCHO customer or a member of their family, please tell us and we can take action.

We will investigate your concerns and respond in line with our Safeguarding Policies.

You can call FCHO on 0161 393 7117 and one of our Contact Centre advisors will take details of your concern. Alternatively email safeguarding@fcho.co.uk.

If you think there is an immediate risk of harm, to a child or adult, dial 999 and report it to the police.
