FCHO supports Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter

26/06/2025

FCHO is proud to be an initial supporter of the Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter, which launched this week at the Housing 2025 event.

The scheme is the first of its type in the country and is intended to be a quality mark for both private and social housing in the region.

The Regulator of Social Housing gave us the highest possible rating in our annual stability check to reinforce our strong position in providing safe, quality homes for Oldham.

As an initial supporter of the charter, we are already able to demonstrate the legal compliance with current regulations and we will work towards full membership.

Christina Todd, our Director of Communities said: “We know the difference that good quality, safe, decent homes can make to people’s lives and we are proud to be part of the Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter. It demonstrates our shared commitment to higher standards and stronger partnerships to benefit tenants and contribute to a housing system that works for everyone in the city region.”
