More than 15 members of First Choice Homes Oldham’s Customer Engagement Network (CEN) and Customer Performance and Scrutiny Panel (CPSP) came together last week for their annual Christmas party.

The seasonal celebration took place on Wednesday 17 December at First Place and featured festive food, a quiz, and a Christmas jumper competition to recognise the fantastic work our involved customers do to shape and influence our services throughout the year.

Alf Bridge, who sits on both the CEN and CPSP, was crowned winner of the jumper competition after arriving in not just a Christmas jumper, but a Christmas shirt too. He received a £20 Love2Shop gift card for his efforts.

Ginette Wolfenden, took home the quiz prize voucher with an impressive score of 17 out of 20.

Naomi Martin-Smith, Stronger Communities Manager, said:  "The event was organised not only as a festive celebration but an opportunity to strengthen relationships with involved customers and support engagement in future.

“The panels are a crucial part of our work and help us make improvements for everyone who lives in an FCHO home. Thank you to everyone joined us for the celebration and we look forward to working with you in the new year.”

Zara Mills, a CEN member, said: “The Christmas party was a great chance to meet other involved customers, chat in a relaxed way, and share our lived experiences. It made us feel part of something bigger and showed that our involvement is valued.”
