Councillors attend briefing on new Customer and Communities Strategy

Earlier this month, FCHO invited councillors to attend a briefing to learn about our new Customer and Communities Strategy as we continue to work in partnership with the council.

Oldham’s elected representatives came to FCHO’s offices in Union Street on Tuesday 19th August for the event.

Among those who attended were Labour, Liberal Democrat and independent councillors including deputy council leaders Abdul Jabbar and Elaine Taylor.

Following a presentation of the strategy by Executive Director of Customer Experience Jayne Lawson and Chief Executive Mark Gifford there was a chance for a Q&A session and a catch up.

“A big thank you to all the councillors who took the time to come to our offices in Union Street to look at our strategy and give their views,“ said Mrs Lawson.

“As an anchor organisation here in Oldham we want to continue a positive partnership with the council and others to ensure this strategy is the very best it can be for our customers and our communities across Oldham.

“The feedback from councillors at the event was very important and insightful and will be used alongside the views of our customers to help shape the strategy.”
