Coronavirus: latest update on ending your tenancy

Currently we are asking customers to complete their tenancy termination process by email to minimise risk for our customers and our staff.

If you would like to end your tenancy with us, please get in touch with our Contact Centre by calling 0161 393 7117 or emailing servicecentre@fcho.co.uk. They will pass on your details to your Neighbourhood Officer, who will confirm the process to you.

What to do if you want to end your tenancy

We want to ensure your time as a customer is an enjoyable one and that you have all of the support you need to stay in your home for as long as required.

If there is any way we can support you to stay in your home and keep your tenancy we would like to chat to you about this, please contact us on 0161 393 7117.

If ending your tenancy is your only option, you will need to provide at least 28 days’ notice, ending on a Sunday.

Your options

  1. Fill out the below ending my tenancy form. Your Neighbourhood Officer will be in contact within 2 working days to arrange an appointment with you in relation to ending your tenancy.
  2. Come into our main office to discuss how to end your tenancy. First Place, 22 Union Street, Oldham. OL1 1BE, our opening hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
  3. Contact us to request a paper form to end your tenancy. This will need to be filled out and posted to our office First Place, 22 Union Street, Oldham. OL1 1BE.

Please note: completing this form will NOT commence your tenancy notice period; your Neighbourhood Officer will contact you to arrange this.
