    Key Priorities

    Feeling Safe:

    FCHO to work closely with the Community Safety Unit to build confidence with tenants and residents to report crime and promote a number of joint initiatives.

    Health and Wellbeing:

    To continue to work closely with partners in Sholver on joint initiatives including winter fuel and the smoking cessation pilot. To publicise the initiatives and to share the outcomes.

    Partnership Working:

    FCHO to strengthen working relationships with the District Partnership and the new Integrated Neighbourhood Policing Team.

    Partnership Working:

    To develop a working relationship with the District Partnership and Oldham to progress Asset Based Community Development and maximise the benefits for our tenants and customers.

    Partnership Working:

    FCHO to work with partners and local organisations to address the levels of worklessness, youth unemployment and NEETS within the neighbourhood and delivering the FCHO worklessness strategy at a local level by developing opportunities and initiatives.

    Asset Management:

    Work in partnership with Asset management and Mansell Construction to bring the two empty properties at 69/71 Rembrandt Walk back into use.

    Asset Management:

    Assist Asset Management in the development and consultation on plans for the development of the remainder of the Top Sholver site and previously identified potential development of other sites elsewhere in the neighbourhood.

    Stronger Communities:

    To identify key individuals within the local Sholver community to assist with the action planning, monitoring and evaluation of the Sholver Neighbourhood Plan.

    Stronger Communities:

    To establish improved community involvement measures which are more representative of the community as a whole and encourage participation by a variety of agencies.
