    Key Priorities

    Welfare Reform:

    To continue raising awareness of the Welfare Reform Act with customers. Strategies need to be developed with internal and external partners to negate the impact and support customers through a number of joint initiatives

    Welfare Reform:

    To work with the Local Authority to address areas within Royton that are more likely to feel the impact of Welfare Reform.

    Feeling Safe:

    FCHO to work closely with local Policing team and the Community Safety Unit to build confidence with tenants and residents to report crime.

    Partnership Working:

    FCHO to strengthen working relationships with the Integrated Neighbourhood Policing Team and other local Registered Providers i.e. Guinness Northern Counties & Housing 21.

    Partnership Working:

    To develop a working relationship with the District Partnership Sub Groups with a view of identify current health and wellbeing issues relevant to the local community.

    Community Involvement:

    To identify key active individuals within the local community to assist with the Action Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Royton Neighbourhood Plan.

    Community Involvement:

    To identify positive activities for residents young or older with a view of reducing tenancy issues and involvement customers in sustainable activities.

    Capital Works Programme:

    To identify possible legacies which could leave a long standing improvement to the residents of Royton and encourage customer engagement.
