"Hi, I'm Olga Dunne and I'm your Neighbourhood Officer for Coldhurst. If you have any issues regarding your tenancy or neighbourhood please contact me via our Service Centre."
The BGreen Project is a pioneering initiative across 2 wards and 5 estates in Central Oldham. We are the major landlord in the St Mary’s and Coldhurst wards. As a result of a high number of void properties, the St Mary’s estate contained significantly lower than average property asset values. Following an area review, other housing related indicators were identified, which included fuel poverty, high levels of benefit dependency and health and education outcomes.
We will make appropriate referrals to services.
We will work with our partners, customers and colleagues to challenge perceptions and influence change.
We will promote to all customers, FCHO’s employment and training offer including work experience, volunteering and employment readiness.
We will work with groups and partner agencies to promote health activities in the area.
We will continue to work with existing groups, promoting the work they do to the wider community.
Everyone is welcome to come along to the friendly community coffee morning held at the Anchor Street Community Centre every Thursday between 10- 12pm. A small fee is charged for tea toast and cake. Meet other people from your area and get involved in the community garden outside the Centre.
Starting in April, Universal Credit in Oldham is Changing. If you make a new claim or make changes to your claim, you will have to go on to the new online portal for benefits.
