Our new Live Well service is here!
We are putting our customers' wellbeing at the heart of our plans with the launch of our new support service, Live Well.
The Live Well service, formerly known as the Independence service, is available to all FCHO customers for just £9.88 per week – providing you and your families with peace of mind and regular contact from one of our dedicated advisors.
Live Well advisors are trained to act as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for customers in any areas where additional support is needed. This ranges from basic help such as reporting repairs in your home, paying rent, or accessing any benefits you're entitled to. It also includes social support such as aiding you to become involved in your local neighbourhood, attending community groups and building foundations to help you find their feet again after the pandemic.
Vicky Campbell, our Live Well Service Manager, said: “Now more than ever, many people need that little bit of extra help and we’re delighted to be able to offer this at such a low cost.
“Absolutely anyone who lives in an FCHO home can access Live Well. There’s no age cut off, no obligation to sign up for a set period and most importantly, no judgement.
“We’re a housing association but often, providing a roof over someone’s head is just not enough, which is why we go over and above for our customers. The Live Well team is made up of some of the most caring people you could ever meet, who genuinely thrive off supporting our customers to get the best out of their lives.”
Speaking about his dedicated advisor Suzanne, Live Well customer Terry Hall, aged 63 said: “Suzanne brings happiness to my life. She brightens up my week every time she comes. We talk about every subject going and we’ve got a lot of things in common – I just really enjoy her company and the help she gives me.”
