Changes to Holts Community Hub

The way we provide services and support from the Holts Hub is changing.

What this means for you

The Hub will remain open, with a smaller team of staff there on a day-to-day basis. GMP and Focused Care staff will continue to work out of the Hub full-time. The other partners (FCHO, Positive Steps, Oldham Council) will become part of the larger multi-agency team and will be at the Hub on a part-time basis.

From December 2019, your FCHO Neighbourhood Officer will no longer be based at the Hub full-time, but instead will be working out of the Hub at different times throughout the week. Home visits will be carried out when you need them and phone contact will be available when the officer is based at FCHO offices on Union Street.

Conversations will take place with residents who drop in to the Hub, or who are working with the team, so we can agree the best times for them to be available.

As you will know, the café is due to be refurbished and as the work starts to extend, we expect all activities to continue as usual from there.

This change is due to partners now working together on a larger scale, to continue to effectively support residents and communities across all parts of Oldham.

All partners remain committed to supporting the people and communities in Holts and Lees. More information will be shared with you as the offer to residents is developed further.
